Faz in Sunnyvale

Came here during lunch time with team on a weekday. Really like the ambience of this place. Made a reservation here but the place wasn't that busy , at least on Tuesday. Liked their hummus and babaganoush as appetizers and then followed up with veggie kabobs. Really liked the food and we had good time.

Faz restaurant would be even more enjoyable if they had some jazz.

The food was ok. Nothing to talk about. The service was slow due to the high volume of costumers. The staff is courteous.

Great place for large groups, especially last minute. Menu hasn't changed for some time but what is there is good.

Mediterranean restaurant with good food and ambience !they do have an outside seating area next to in house garden..ample free parking ...

Overcooked filet, didn't know what a Moscow mule was. Ordered an Irish coffee, came without any Bailey's. No steak knife for the steak. Server was very unattentive. Everything looked great, but the experience want pleasant after that.

TLDR three water glasses out of three were dirty.The first had lipstick and we asked to have it taken back, the second had lip gloss? And we didn't bother to has to have it taken back. The third glass had water stands on it. The takeaway is this restaurant doesn't bother to wipe their water glasses and serves flat water after a long period of sitting.The food also was mediocre / off / gross. I had the pizza, which is just pita bread with pizza toppings on it. There was nothing impressive about it.My wife had a kebab plate, but all of the meat on the kebab plate tasted not microwaved, but pan-fried? I tried two bites and couldn't eat it, so you might not like it either.

Great food. Great service. Mediterranean fusion place in the Sheraton. Rack of lamb, Mediterranean tray, calamari and pomegranate ice cream all delicious. Was told the mango sorbet was fabulous by multiple table mates.Perfect vodka tonic.No complains. Would definitely come again

First timer.. I got to say, best mushroom soup I've ever had. Over the course of the night had the pita bread, salsa and salmon entre. Everything with quality, presentation and speed . The excellent dishes, friendly clean atmosphere and *excellent* service by Theresa made a 5 star winner here. I look forward to coming back!

Good food. Spacious place. Adequate service. Good spot for office get together. Had the shrimp salad and it was tasty. Nice place overall.

Staying at the Sheraton next door... This place honestly had a great kebab the first night I stayed here and then had scallops wrapped in bacon... Yum... The staff in general is great and they have great food and they are very accommodating... I kind of showed late and they were closing soon but they took care of me... Sean (SP?) Manager was highly energetic and very interested in making sure things were great!Good place would recommend!

Service was nice. My flight reached late so by the time i got there the main restaurant was closed but they were serving food at the bar. I enjoyed my drink. Chicken kaboob (boneless pieces not the minced one) was definitely dry and hard to eat, the rice interestingly tasted very well.

Yum, delicious persian food, great service and good prices.

Enjoyed eating here the food was great. Not used to kabob dinners without the side salad, but the beans were good nonetheless.

This place is a GREAT waiter that provides superb service. I had a sirloin and he not only told me about the special in which my order was included in but also brought me my steak cooked PERFECTLY. I highly recommend this location. Ask for the place!! You will not regret it!

Every dish we received was excellent. The only reason I am not giving a full five stars was service was slow however I will give them the benefit of doubt in that we did go on Christmas day. They may have been short staffed

Great value here! We had our wedding reception here, and the manager at the time made everything smooth, easy and enjoyable! Communication was great. The location is simple with ample lot parking. I've also attended business seminars here and business lunches.We have Christmas dinner reservations and they use opentable so reservations are easy online. The food is fresh and flavorful. Service is friendly and reliable. It's a classy place, and my family has a good time here!

Kebabs were great here. Service was attentive as well. We enjoyed the outdoor seating as my friend brought along her dog.

Very nice and sophisticated place with excellent service; as you come in you are served with complimentary flat bread naans along with an olive oil based dip. The calamari I found very tasty and the beef kebabs were nothing but brilliant. Only complaint I had was that the food overall was a bit too salty for my family's liking. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place for date dinners or business dinners

Not worth the price. We had a team dinner there. Everything was just meh for the price. We went as a group so ordered bunch of appetizers. They were not terrible in any particular way, but just didn't have good flavor. My main entree, a grilled fish, felt not super fresh. I can't tell whether it was because the fish was overcooked or it wasn't fresh. I would rather drive 5 minutes and eat at Parcel 104 or Dish Dash or Il Fornaio nearby. They have consistently better food at similar price or much better food at only slightly higher price.

I really like this place. When you are staying in a hotel​ for work, you sometimes have to take what you get with the hotel​ restaurant. This place is a pleasant surprise. The kabobs are great, and the rice is decadently buttered ☺️. Staff (bar and waitstaff) has been friendly and efficient.

I usually love this restaurant. Parking is always available. Reservations are recommended, especially for larger lunch parties. It gets busy very quickly shortly after noon, which may lead to longer wait times. Food is excellent, except for my last visit, when veggies were burned and the meat I ordered as medium-rare came more as well-done. Thus, the downgrade to 4 stars

Came here for business lunch. Ordered the chicken thigh and calamari. The grilled chicken thigh is really way too hard to chew. Quite a bad quality of meat preparation as the chicken thigh supposed to be more tender than the breast. Overall service and ambience are good . Come for business discussion or Friend gathering I ideal..

Company dinner with pre-set menu. Wedge salad with blue cheese dressing, t-bone steak, dessert. Steak cooked rare as requested, but the quality of the beef was not very high. Ordered chocolate gache, ran out, got tiramisu instead, was ok, but not great. Service was slow, not attentive. Found staff chatting instead of taking care of the party. Best part of the food was the blue cheese, so I would not recommend this for future parties.

We enjoy hanging out. Last night we found this fine place which friends recommended to us. We spent a beautiful experience there with superb food and a nice team and a talented chef. We added this place in our phone list and we shall no doubt visit again very soon. We deeply recommend.

During our stay at The Sheraton Sunnyvale, we ordered room service which was from Faz Restaurant. Our meals were very good. Burger was cooked exactly how he ordered it. My California Chicken sandwich was great. Fries were hot and fresh. Service was wonderful. Would definitely order from here again.

This is a great place to dine, if you are staying in the hotel or driving past. It's right off the expressway. Exceptional service, great Mediterranean cuisine. You will be in great hands here.

Food is prey bad and the servers take their own sweet time to come to your table

Nice place to bring customers or coworkers. I wouldn't come here all the time since it's on the expensive side. It has a home feeling atmosphere and the food is delicious.

Decent but pricey food. Good selection of seafood served in slightly oversized proportions. Decor and atmosphere of the place is fine, the staff are generally friendly, and the location is definitely convenient. The main issue is that there is a better selection of restaurants slightly further south with better cost-performance ratio, so this place seem to be best suited for people who needed to host work related parties on a short notice.

Nice place for business lunch. Very reasonable pricing. We came here for quarter end group luncheon, and the server was nice and sweet. Very nice ambience but you see mostly business customers only. Pasta is average, but if you love Mediterranean cuisine, this is the place you should try.

Nice middle eastern and persian style dishes, good selection of wines and beers.

The place to be for the Mediterranean food

Good place for team events and socials with a lot of floor space and an outdoor patio as well. The bar is reasonably well stocked and there are decent appetizer/entree options. Service is friendly and prompt.

Great choice for a Silicon Valley business lunch. Located at the Sheraton Sunnyvale Faz is a full service destination restaurant whose appeal goes way beyond convenience. My Grilled Avocado & Prawn Salad was "To Live For". Decor pleasant & upscale. Indoor & outdoor seating available. Table spacing and indoor noise level fine for discussion. This would have been a 5* review except the hostess caused a big hiccup telling one of our party that she needed to go to the other Faz location. The situation was saved by text and I walked up to the front to connect with our other lunch guest. All other service was great.

Service was great, food was tasty and the portions were large the best part was the very attentive and accommodating waitress. Overall we were satisfied with the food. Good spot for business lunches and celebrations. Parking can get crowded.

We ordered different kinds of steaks, but both come covered in a sauce that kind of overpowered the flavor anyways. We ordered mushrooms on the side intending to have them with the steaks, but they forgot them, and so we ended up with undercooked mushrooms arriving at the end of the meal.The service was good other than the forgotten dish, willing to try them out again, but probably not a steak.
